Please answer all questions with the following typical building in mind — it represents the kind of building this methodology targets in your country:
A multi-family residential building built between 1960 and 1975, typical of the national housing stock: 3–5 storeys with 10–30 dwellings, an uninsulated or poorly insulated façade and roof, windows only partly replaced, central heating using fossil fuel, energy class D–E. No major renovation has been carried out so far. The building was designed before modern seismic codes and stands in an area of seismic hazard typical of your country.
The renovation options under consideration range from a medium energy renovation (e.g. windows, roof, heating system) through a deep energy renovation (full envelope + systems, towards a nearly zero-energy standard), up to a deep renovation combined with seismic strengthening.
