About the GreenRenoV8 Financing Toolkit

The toolbox is designed for the assessment of financial feasibility and monetisation of economic benefits of building renovation projects. It is based on the general methodology from the Guide to Cost-Benefit Analysis of Investment Projects and the Economic Appraisal Vademecum for Cohesion Policy 2021–2027, adapted for the building sector via the MESTRI-CE methodology.

Within the LIFE CET GreenRenoV8 project, the toolkit is further upgraded to incorporate seismic risk considerations and selected sustainability aspects, expanding the traditional energy- and cost-focused assessment towards a comprehensive evaluation of building renovation projects — supporting more robust and future-proof investment decisions.
