Jaka Bizjak, M.Sc.
He completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in the field of numerical modeling of biomass gasification. During his studies, he also gained experimental experience in thermochemical biomass conversion processes during an internship abroad (Luleå University of Technology, Sweden). He has been collaborating with the Centre since his student days in the fields of waste heat recovery in industry and energy system modelling. His current work involves experimental analyses of energy efficiency in households as part of the establishment of a new laboratory for energy efficiency. He is particularly interested in how small behavioral changes in the use of household appliances can reduce energy consumption.
