EEC has many years of experience and references in the development of cogeneration district heating systems and the use of RES. We have been involved in the preparation of the support scheme for electricity production from RES and cogeneration (CHP), international projects regarding this area and other developmental projects.
Cogeneration support
We carry out feasibility studies, operation optimisation studies and comprehensive planning of cogeneration systems in industry and district heating systems. Being a member of the European Association COGEN Europe, EEC has integrated in the wide European context. We are also the main expert institution in the field of cogeneration in Slovenia.
Advanced spatial planning
EEC has developed advanced GIS tool for spatial modelling and planning of consumption and supply of heat and cold. The tool enables us to qualitatively prepare projections, optimise the development of energy networks, offer support in the development of energy concepts for local communities and sustainable strategic energy and environmental planning.
Sustainable efficient RES solutions
EEC has plenty of experience in the development of district biomass heating systems, wind energy use planning, harnessing of biogas and other RES and we provide such services for various customers.
